Welcome to YACS@UCLA! (formerly YALSA)
YACS is the Young Adult and Children's Services group for aspiring Young Adult and Children's Librarians at UCLA. We grew from YALSA, the Young Adult Library Services Association, a division of the American Library Association (ALA). YACS-UCLA is GSE&IS's student branch for youth services, striving to promote awareness of the skills and mindset necessary for our future careers! If you have the desire to provide library service to babies, children, tweens and teens, we hope you'll join us!
