The SLA Student Chapter encourages professional contacts within the field of librarianship with an emphasis on "non-traditional" settings, and actively promotes involvement in professional activities beyond the classroom.

      • It's that time again! The UCLA Student Chapter of the Special Libraries Association presents:

        THE 9th ANNUAL UCLA INFORMATION STUDIES DODGERS NIGHT!

        Who is invited? EVERYONE -- MLIS, MIAS, PhD students, faculty, staff, friends, and families! It'll be a great way for master's students to celebrate after turning in their portfolios on the 11th -- come out and party!

        HOW TO BUY TICKETS:
        Tickets are $9 each and will be sold in person during our "Box Office Days," scheduled from Monday, March 31 through Friday, April 4 from 12:30-1:00 pm in the IS Commons. SLA officers will be there to take cash or check payment, payable to UCLA SLA Student Chapter.
