1. Elections Open for Vice President
2. National SAA Conference to be held Summer 2003 in Los Angeles. UCLA Student Chapter has opportunity to be very active at an national meeting
3. Fall Event: Western History Day. Catherine Butler, Program Coordinator presents Fall Tour to Braun Research Center @ Southwest Museum and Autry Museum. Days available November 1, 8, 15. Email Catherine with dates you prefer
4. Open Discussion for suggested activities
   • possible panel of UCLA Archivists
   • Manuscript Librarian, UC Archivist, UCLA film archivist
   • co-present with AMIA
   • Workshop on grantwriting.for preservation and processing
   • Investigate Cal State Northridge person (Jessica?)
5. Work with Jackie Dooley of SAA
6. Increase involvement with Southern California Archivists (SCA). Annual onference to be held in April in Sacramento
7. Document Events -
8. photos, flyers etc. Include section on website for event photos and information
9. Build Student Chapter Discussion Board
10. Review Website and update resources
11. There are no dues for student chapter. Check SAA and SCA for student rates & benefits.
