The Sayers and Walter Collections are special collections of children's books housed within the Department of Information Studies.

The Sayers collection is named for Frances Clarke Sayers, a famous children's librarian and UCLA faculty member. The collection is located in GSE&IS Room 245. It is non-circulating, and organized by call number |
The Walter collection is located in the MIT Lab. It circulates to I.S. students, and is organized alphabetically by author. The materials in the Walter Collection are donated by Dr. Virginia Walter of the UCLA Information Studies department. The collection is located in the MIT Lab in the GSE&IS building. |
