Responsibilities: provide specialized information and research services to library users in-person and online; provide outreach and services through a variety of means including social media and mobile technologies; participate in reference collection development; collaborate with colleagues and faculty to develop, promote, and provide library instruction and information literacy. Minimum qualifications: MLS/MLIS/MIS degree from an ALA accredited program at time of appointment; working knowledge of basic Microsoft Office and Web 2.0; experience with electronic information technologies and their applications for information service and instruction; experience with and strong commitment to information service and library instruction; effective oral and written communication skills; ability to work evenings and/or weekends. Preferred qualifications: additional advanced degrees; experience with Web page design and development; experience with small-screen mobile smart screen applications; experience with federal government publications; experience with legal reference. Salary up to $45,100 plus excellent benefits.
