As a member of the Education Department, the Librarian represents the library and contributes expertise on information management issues. Overview of the position’s responsibilities: Responsibilities for the Librarian include providing reference assistance to all students, cataloging and organization of Library material, database management, assuring that all accreditation and state regulations are adhered to within the library and enforcing the schools policies and procedures. Working with Instructors, Program Managers, Directors of Education, and Advisory Boards to secure program related material for the Library. Regularly evaluates Library materials for currency and relevance to the subject areas being taught.
