|Position||Reference and Instruction Librarian|
|The John M. Flaxman Library of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) seeks an energetic, highly motivated librarian with a strong service orientation, excellent technological skills, and a background in art to serve as Reference & Instruction Librarian. This is a full-time position requiring some evening and weekend hours. Duties: promoting and participating in the library instruction program including collaboration with library staff and faculty in the design and development of information literacy instruction, online workshops, tutorials, and other learning objects for library instruction. Providing user-centered reference and research services to all eligible library users. Assists with all access services functions as needed.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
