Welcome to my home

In
April 2013, I will have served the UCLA community for more than thirty-five
years as a professor of information studies and will continue to do so,
though I will seek emeritus status then.
In
demand as an international consultant on developing information economies,
I will continue to work abroad having traveled to Eritrea,
Russia
(10 times since 1996), Tanzania, Turkmenistan
(4 times), Uganda and Zambia.
Effective,
2 April 2013, I will become an adjunct professor in the School of Information Studies
at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga,
New South Wales.
In
September 2013, I will be abroad in Turkmenistan, courtesy of their
government, working on eLibrary issues and the third edition of an
English-Russian-Turkmen dictionary of information terminology; the second
edition (English-Russian) is in press with the Turkmen State Publishing
Agency.
