Cindy Mediavilla

Cindy Mediavilla, PhD, MLS, is Library Programs Consultant for the California State Library and teaches part-time for the UCLA Department of Information Studies. She is also a freelance consultant and well-known workshop presenter on topics related to leadership, collection development, and young adult services. Her research areas include after-school homework centers and the history of California public libraries during the post-World War II era. In 2001, Cindy served as president of the California Library Association.
