COURSES All students are required to take 36 units during the Winter, Spring, and Summer quarters. The required courses for PRAXIS students are listed below. Students may chose from optional courses (electives) if they have taken the required course within the last three years. Additionally, optional courses (electives) can be recommended and approved by faculty advisors. Three courses will be taken in the Winter and Spring quarters, and a weekly PRAXIS seminar. One required course will be taken in the Summer (Information Policy), as well as, an independent study. Within the 36 required units at least one required course must be taken in each of the four specialization areas: Cultural Diversity, Information Technology, Research Methods,and Information Policy.
