To subscribe to the list, send a message to "requests@lists.gseis.ucla.edu."

In the body of the message, type "subscribe IS-AMIA your name" where your name is, literally your name (NOT email address).

OR

Go to the UCLA Department of Information Studies homepage [http://is.gseis.ucla.edu], click "MIT Lab," and then click "IS Departmental Email Lists." From there, click the link to the "Automated Form" and follow these steps:

1. Type in your full name in blank field

2. Type in your email address in blank field

3. Click "Subscribe" in next field

4. Click "Other list" in next field and type in blank field: "IS-AMIA"

5. Click "Submit"

You will then get an automated message sent to your email address. You need to follow the instructions within this message to complete your subscription.

You don't have to be a member of our parent organization, AMIA to join the UCLA Student Chapter. If you are interested in joining AMIA, go to their website for more information: http://www.amianet.org/.

The UCLA AMIA Student Chapter relies on its members and their enthusiasm in achieving its mission goals year in and year out. We encourage all members to participate in all our activities, events, and programming. Whatever time our membership can give to assisting with the organization's work is greatly appreciated and in the end, aid in the development of the chapter in the long term.
