- flyer to be included in orientation folder for 1st years (Isabelle & Greg)
- Info to be included:
- website, 1st meeting date, link to ALA/CLA discount student membership, link to mentorship form, join the committees!
- Group pic of exec board
- Attending lab orientation days, ITW, making announcements in core classes 1st wk
- Orientation is only 1 day this year, and requires only 1 representative from each IS organization
- Professional Development, Social Programs, Service, Publicity/Outreach, Fundraising
- Sunshine week – promotes open gov’t, try to get the gov docs, poli sci, public policy, annenberg folks & indymedia involved, try to make it a UCLA wide thing
- Tours: Lake View Terrace (green library), SMPL (Fall?), Brand Art & Music Library, Culinary School library w/ SLA? (Spring?)
- Career development, resume, cover letter sessions (Winter)
- Will will talk to folks at Career Center
- Wine tasting
- 1st yr/2nd yr mentoring program

- Movie night – Hollywood Librarian, Party Girl
- 1st social: Oct. 10th, 4-6 p.m. @ Brew Co.
