Revised Bylaws:
• Kelly explained why we revised the Bylaws and the key points of change
To clarify the election process
To update officer roles
To revise procedures for Student Representative to ALA Annual Conference
• Candidate pool will include officers only
o Beverly Lynch’s preference
• Loren read the revised Bylaws to the group
• Group decided to change the requirements for Vice President from a student in their first year of the program to a student NOT in their final year of the program
• Group decided to add a statement that any officer position can be shared by more than one individual (example: co-presidents)
• Unanimous vote cast to ratify the bylaws including the discussed changes

Election Procedures:
• Kelly explained which positions were up for election in the spring and which are up for election in the fall
Spring: President, Publicity Officer & Treasurer
Fall: Vice President, Web Designer & Secretary
• Kelly explained dates and logistics of nominations, voting, and elections

Action item: Add Claire Scarborough to member roster
